Meet Our Founder

G. Connor Apthorp
​​Founder & President
Connor founded Valor Business Development Systems in 2024 to solve capacity issues for M&A participants in the lower middle market. Previously, Connor led the Business Development function at Dubin Clark & Company, a leading lower middle market private equity firm. Formerly, Connor worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at FourBridges Capital Advisors and a Financial Analyst at Unum Group (NYSE: UNM). Outside of work, Connor likes to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and travel with his wife, Christine (who is also an entrepreneur).
